Personal Progress Motivator

As part of the youth program I'm apart of at church, we have a program called Personal Progress. It's very similar to the scouting program in that the girls pass off individual projects, it's a wonderful program that's designed to bring these girls (ages 12-18) closer to their Heavenly Father. I did it when I was their age, and now I love that I get to work with these girls on it as well.

But sometimes, the girls need a little extra push to work on it. Especially the older girls, as life gets busier it gets harder for them to find the time. To help give them that little extra push I found {this} great idea.

Each Sunday if a girl passes off an experience or a value she gets to come up and take a sucker and tell the other girls which ones she did. Our goal is to have all of the suckers gone by the end of the year.

This is super easy to put together, it only took like 20 minutes to put the whole thing together.

Supplies:
Vase
Styrofoam ball
1 big bag of Dum Dum suckers (I got mine at Walmart)
Pink Tissue Paper

This project is pretty self explanatory, simply put enough suckers in to completely cover the Styrofoam  I used the pink tissue paper to help fill the bottom of the vase and hide the green foam.

I used the same saying Marci did.

It's been a fun way to get the girls excited and start working on their Personal Progress. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
