A few weeks ago, as part of our church youth program, we held a program where we invite all of the girls who will be coming into our program this year to spend time with their families and the other girls, and to help them get to know more about what to expect in the next year.
Each year we have a theme and this year is-"Stand ye in holy places, and be not moved, until the day of the Lord come; for behold, it cometh quickly, siath the Lord" As part of the "Stand ye in Holy Places" we decided to have our focus be on shoes.
We decorated with shoes and the colors of our program, yellow, blue, red, purple, green, orange, gold, and white.
We went easy on the refreshments, and just ordered cupcakes from a local bakery-
We even had these adorable glitter shoes in each of the program's colors.
And, my favorite part was the favors. We used
this template to make the adorable shoes and filled them with chocolate. Each girl got to take one home at the end of the night.
It was a great success, and of course that's because all the leaders worked together to make it so. It's so fun to put together these nights for the girls.

What a cute theme! I miss serving in YW for fun nights like this... although not so much for the planning of them sometimes ;) I love that you found so many cute shoes!
