I like my banana's to be almost black before I use them-it makes the banana taste even more prominent And the mix of soft banana's and sour cream make this the most moist banana bread you'll ever taste.
You can use this recipe to make one large loaf or four small loaves, but four small loaves means you have to share. I wasn't feeling very generous this time.

Martha Stewart Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1 Stick Butter-softened
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 ½ Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 Cup Mashed Ripe Bananas
½ cup Sour Cream
1 tsp Vanilla
In a large mixing bowl cream sugar and softened butter. Add the eggs and beat until blended. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, beat until blended. Blend in mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Add nuts or chocolate chips if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 1 large loaf or 4 small loaves.
