DIY Any Season Wreath

Alright folks it's official, after having my life turned upside down I'm finally getting back to doing things I love. I took another unexpected blogging break the last few weeks because honestly, sometimes my life can be hard. But I realized the other day that my life isn't going to get better anytime soon so why wallow in self pity?

I know this looks like a Halloween wreath but really it can be used for any season. My sister and I decided to start with something easy for my first craft after my accident, I'm still working on getting full function in my arm again. We followed Crafty Chic Mommy's tutorial for the wreath but I wanted to add a few things of my own. 

Checking In

Sorry I've been a little MIA lately. My family and I headed down to Lake Powell this last week and then I had surgery yesterday morning to remove the screws in my left elbow.

Now I'm just hanging out in bed; watching t.v. shows, catching up on blogs, and typing one handed. I hope to get back to writing longer posts when my arm doesn't hurt as much later this week.

Exciting News!

Alright awesome friends and neighbors I have such fun news for you today! For those that live in or around Tooele, you know that our shopping choices are limited but I am so excited to announce that a DownEast store is coming to Tooele!!

I can't tell how much I love this store. Since I've been home from the hospital I've done way to much online shopping and most of clothes have come from DownEast. Seriously, if I could I would buy one of everything and have them furnish my entire closet.

I'm heading down to Lake Powell with my family this weekend, but we don't leave until 3pm on Friday, which means plenty of time to do a little shopping before hand.
